On November 22, in Buon Me Thuot City, Dak Lak province, Ministry of Justice in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) organized a training course providing legal knowledge on secured transactions and registration of secured transactions for civil servants in charge of state management on registration of secured transactions in the provincial Departments of Justice, officials from Offices for Registration of Land Use Right, notaries and credit officers from 05 provinces in the Central Highlands including Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum.

To implement the training and retraining Plan for cadres and civil servants of justice sector in 2011, after the first training course for judicial verification experts in the northern region, on November 20 and 21, Ministry of Justice organized another training course providing legal and professional knowledge for judicial verification experts in the southern provinces (from Danang southwards).

On November 18, JPP Steering Committee convened its annual meeting in Hanoi to discuss measures to ensure the program’s effective operations. Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien and Danish Ambassador John Nielsen co-chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Supreme People’s Court and Supreme People’s Procuracy, Vietnam Bar Federation, donors, and related agencies.

On November 8, in Nam Dinh province, Ministry of Justice held a conference reviewing the emulation movement of Justice and Civil Judgment Enforcement agencies in the Northern Plains. Attending the conference were Deputy Minister of Justice Pham Quy Ty, Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh provincial People's Committee Bui Duc Long and leaders from Departments of Justice and Civil Judgment Enforcement of 12 provinces in Northern Delta.
