At the 7th session, the National Assembly passed 11 laws and 6 resolutions, and commented on other 16 drafted laws. The Prime Minister, in the Official Document No. 1257/TTg-V.III dated 22 July 2014, requested ministries, ministerial-level agencies and relevant agencies to promptly implement these documents.

Decree No. 18/2014/ND-CP of the Government dated 14 March 2014 provides for the royalty regime in the field of journalism and publishing. The Decree comes into effect as from 1 June 2014.
