On January 14, at the meeting with Prof. Dr. Bernhard Vogel, Honorable Chairman of the KAS, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong said Vietnam is now preparing for the enforcement of the 2013 Constitution to gain the target of building the rule of law state in Vietnam.

On September 28, an inter-agency delegation led by Deputy Minister of Justice Dinh Trung Tung began a two-week working visit to Canada to study and learn about the legislative process in this country. According to the agenda, the delegation would have working visits to the Federal Agencies such as the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Court, the House of Commons, the Privy Council Office, Canada’s Bar Association and several Ontario Agencies such as the Ministry of the Attorney General, the Office of Legislative Counsel, the Cabinet Office, the Court of Appeals, the Law Committee, Law Society, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

Ministry of Justice on September 18 held a launching workshop for National Legislative Development Project on introducing content, programs and coordination mechanisms for implementing the project. The workshop were participated by representatives of central agencies, Justice Departments, number of international organizations ... Deputy Minister of Justice Dinh Trung Tung attended the workshop and had an opening speech.

On September 10, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong award the medal on “contribution to the justice development in Vietnam” to Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam Yasuaki Tanizaki to acknowledge his contribution to the legal and judicial cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
