Vietnam Ministry of Justice delegation to attend the First Asian Affairs Commission Meeting and the third Steering Committee Meeting of International Union of Notaries

The first meeting of Asian Affairs Commission under the International Union of Notaries took place on September 26, 2011 in Jakarta, the capital of the Republic of Indonesia.

Attending the conference were delegations from the Asian member notariats of UINL (including Japan, Indonesia, China, Korea), other member notariats of UINL and the Asian observer notariats (including Laos, Cambodia, Mongolia and Vietnam). Mr. Jean Paul Decorps ,President of the UINL, chaired the meeting.

Vietnam delegation led by Ms. Do Hoang Yen, Director of Judicial Support Department, actively participated in the conference activities. The recent renovations in notary service in Vietnam, especially the socialization of notarial activities, along with Vietnam's initiative were lauded at the conference. This is also a good opportunity for Vietnam’s notary to learn international experience and promote its notarial activities to the world./.-ITD
