The second round of Negotiation on Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia

On October 03, the second round of negotiation on Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia was conducted at the head office of Ministry of Justice.
Cambodia is now the only neighboring country that Vietnam has not signed the Mutual Judicial Assistance Agreement in Civil Matters.
In the first round of negotiation which had been held in Phnom Penh (Cambodia) on 28 and 29 July,2011, two sides basically agreed with each other on 19 articles of a total of 35 Articles in the Agreement.
In the second round, both Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien and State Secretary Hy Sophea expressed the hope that two sides would work together to further deepen the agreed contents and reach consensus on the remaining articles./.-ITD
