At the meeting, the Minister Je Jeong-Boo and Vietnamese delegation appreciated the result of cooperation between the two sides in recent years, especially since both ministries signed a cooperation agreement in June, 2012. Deputy Minister Le Hong Son also send greeting of the Minister Ha Hung Cuong to Minister Je Jeong-Boo and announced plans scheduled working visit by Minister Ha Hung Cuong in Korea in coming time.

The delegation had experienced discussions with Deputy Minister Hwang Sang Cheol and some units’ leaders of the South Korean Ministry of Government Legislation. The S. Korea side has an overview of the functions and duties of the Legislature in establishing and improving the system of legal documents of S. Korea. Each year, the Government Legislation Ministry shall verify 2500 Legal documents by ministries issued proposed or submitted on the issue. When performing the examination, the Ministry focused on the essential criteria of the issue, the constitutionality and legality, consistency, uniform, easy to understand and apply by those legal normative documents. Besides, the evaluation also focused on the transparency of administrative procedures and the ability to prevent corruption arising from the provisions of the documents. Both sides also exchanged experiences in mobilizing professionals involved written verification, control mechanisms after the documents has issued (through the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court). Deputy Minister Le Hong Son appreciated the legislative experience of the two parties and hope that S. Korean partners would continue to develop relationships practical cooperation and efficiency in the future.
