The civil judgement enforcement in 2010 with impressive results

On 22 December 2010, the General Department of Civil Judgement Enforcement organized a ceremony to summarize the work of civil judgement enforcement in 2010 and build its orientation in 2011 in Danang City. Attending the ceremony were Justice Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chinh and representatives from sectors and agencies of central Government and Danang City as well as from local departments of civil judgement enforcement.
Since the law on civil judgement enforcement and its implement guiding documents came into effect, together with the determination of Ministry of Justice, the General Department of Civil Judgement Enforcement has consolidated its organization from central to local levels.
According to the report presented by Mr Hoang Sy Thanh, Deputy General Director of the General Department of Civil Judgement Enforcement, the sector now has 3.135 judgment enforcement officers’ ranks, 301 verifiers' ranks and 9 chief verifiers’ranks.
The General Department also built its own training and forstering plans for the staff of judgment enforcement officers’ ranks who directly carried out the civil judgement enforcement at grassroot level.
The civil judgement enforcement in 2010 also gained high results despite its shortcomings and limits ( the sector fullfils 86,35 % of the work and 60 % of the money)
However, the institution building is still slow; the management and monitoring are not effective and do not meet the demand of the sector.
The staff insuffiency is another shortcoming. The coordination of the sector with other relating agencies is not continual.
At the meeting, delegates also discussed the cumbersomes and difficulties and recommended the orientation in the year 2011./.- ITD
