Thanh Hoa: Establishing the Legal Aid Branch No. 02

With the consent of the Provincial People's Committee, the Legal Aid Branch No. 02 under State Legal Aid Center of Thanh Hoa province went into operation at Ngoc Lac district on September 7th.Legal Aid Branch No. 02 is a unit under the management of the provincial State Legal Aid Center for all professional activities in the field of Legal Aid.
Legal Aid Branch No. 02 made free legal aid beneficiaries in accordance with the law. It performed the legal counselling, participation in the legal proceedings, representation beyond legal proceedings and other forms of Legal Aid. It also implemented itinerant legal aid services and organized legal aid clubs.
The establishment of branches at district level will help to bring the laws to people including the vulnerable groups in society, policy beneficiaries and ethnic minority people in the remote areas./.-ITD
