Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long stated that recently, two Ministries of Justice have had many cooperative activities, achieved a lot of important accomplishments, contributed to the special bond and cooperation between the two countries.
At the conference, Mr. Minister briefly introduced the current socio-eco status of Vietnam, the outstanding achievements in legal building and judicial revolutionizing. For the cooperative activities with Laos Minister of Justice in 2016, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long proposed that both sides focus on enchancing the cooperation between provinces with the same borderlines; promoting the cooperation in sending students to stuty at Vietnamese Intermediate School of Law; solving the migration problem; supporting Laos in training human resource.
Agreeing with the Minister’s proposals, Laos Minister of Justice informed that Laos objectives is to bring the judicial service quality to the next level, focusing on reforming the structure. Two Ministers also witnessed the Signing ceremony of the cooperative Memos between Vietnam Judicial Academy and Laos National Judicial Academy in 2016-2020.
