Ensuring the legal assistance service coincide with the receiver

Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long hosted a meeting with the Department of Legal assistance to listen to the report about Project Legal assistance Law (amended). One of the concerned content beside researching to expand the receivers of legal assistance was changing the receiving forms, which guarantee the results of this service.
Along with inheriting and amending to be compatible with the subjects in the 2006 Legal assistance Law, Director of Department of Legal assistance Nguyen Thi Minh informed that the Draft of the Amended law will change some regulations about the receiver of legal assistance to be synchronized with the legal documents issued after the 2006 Law and other International Conventions that Vietnam have joined. The Draft also added some receivers according to policy of the Party and the State in poverty, social welfare and reality requirements.
For each special subjects, the Draft of Legal assistance Law (amended) will limit the fields and forms of receive in order to ensure the possibility to deliver and balance of State budget. In Vietnam, the limitation of legal assistance forms and fields for each group of people is considered to be one of the reasonable solutions to guarantee the possibility and guide the legal assistance service to focus on their main job, which is completing cases, especially proceedings
