Vi Thanh law junior school has the following tasks: Training human resources at intermediate level for legal sector; Fostering professional skills for cadres, civil servants of Judicial sector when assigned; Doing scientific research for training and retraining of the School; Cooperating with domestic and international organizations and individuals in training, fostering and doing scientific research as provided by law; Performing other tasks assigned by the Minister.

According to the Plan proposed to establish the school, the school’s prioprity is to train legal human resources at intermediate level with good quality for provinces in Mekong Delta and Southwestern Regions.
