The first meeting of the compilation committee for supplementing and amending the marriage and family Law

On July 26, Ministry of Justice held the first meeting of the compilation committee for supplementing and amending the marriage and family Law with the aim at introducing the compilation Committee and editing group and gathering opinions on: the draft Plan to amend and supplement the Law, the draft operating regulation of the compilation Committee and editing group, draft plan to review the law implementation and draft report on the orientations to amend and supplement the Law. Minister Ha Hung Cuong chaired the meeting.
Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung announced the Decision No.936/QD-BTP dated May 29, 2012 of Justice Minister on establishment of the compilation Committee and editing group. Mr Duong Dang Hue, Director of Economic-Civil Legislation introduced the draft working plan and summarising reports. Members of the compilation committee then discussed and gave comments on the above matters as well as the scope and the implementation of the draft Law.
As scheduled, the second meeting will be held in September to collect opinions on the major orientations in amending and supplementing the Law.
