According to the report of the CJR, during the past year, the processes of investigation, prosecution, trial and judgment enforcements have changed positively, limiting wrong verdicts of courts and overdue cases. What is more, the rate of cases solved by judicial organizations has increased which importantly contributes to maintaining socio-economic stability and development of the country. In addition, most Party committees and organizations actively directed the activities of evaluating practice and proposing other important contents related to judicial activities. Thereby, positions and functions of People’s Courts and People's Procuracies in the state organizational structure have become more clearly. Moreover, they directed to summary an eight-year implementation of Party Resolution No. 49-NQ/TW on judicial reforms to 2020 and to draft some projects and specific reports.

In 2014, the CJR will focus on introducing and disseminating the Conclusion of the Politburo about the report on an eight-year implementation of Party Resolution No. 49-NQ/TW on judicial reforms to 2020. Delegates also prioritized amending legal documents in line with the regulations of the revised Constitution’s. In addition, attention will be paid to clarifying litigation laws and furthers specifying the judicial power in building a socialist rule-of-law State.

Concluding the session, President Sang emphasized that proposed schemes must overcome shortcomings and limitations, promote current strengths, and find new solutions to judicial reforms. Additionally, they should avoid overlapping on the organizational structure of the judicial organizations leading to redundancy and inefficiency.
