Standing Deputy Minister of Justice worked with delegation of German assessment experts

Standing Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien on October 3 hosted a reception to the delegation of German assessment experts headed by Dr. Wilfried Bernhardt, State Secretary, Saxon Ministry of Justice and Europe, Germany to assess the effectiveness of implementing the rule-of-law dialogue program between Vietnam and Germany after three years.
Agreeing with the Deputy Minister’s opinion, Mr. Wilfried Bernhardt shared that feedbacks from German organizations involving in the Program were positive. Therefore, assessing the effectiveness of the program is essential to pave the way for the next stage of cooperation.
Two sides also spent time discussing other cooperation activities, including cooperation in the fields of anti-corruption and training.
Mr. Wilfried Bernhardt said that Germany was willing to help Vietnam train lawyers to serve the legal and judicial reforms./-ITD
