Seminar on Criminal Record Management

In the framework of the program on the rule of law dialogue (period 2012-2014), the National Center for Criminal Record in collaboration with the judicial Academy held the Seminar on criminal judicial management in 02 days from June 28 to 29. Deputy Minister Pham Quy Ty attended and chaired the seminar.
Attending the workshop were Ms. Bellmann, First Secretary of German Embassy in Hanoi, Ms. Nicole Schroedel, IRZ Foundation representative to Vietnam, Mr. Peter Christensen, a German expert on criminal records, representatives from other related ministries and sectors, Departments of Justice, the courts, police in some provinces, cities and other relevant agencies under the Ministry of Justice.
At the seminar, delegates heards a number of issues relating to German laws on building and developing the agency managing the database on criminal records, the process of building the agency managing the database on criminal records in Vietnam, the practical training of human resources to serve activities on criminal records in Vietnam and Germany… The participants also focused on exchanging and discussing basic contents in the management of criminal records in Vietnam.
Having a speech at the seminar, Mr. Dang Thanh Son, Director of the Centre National criminal records highly appreciated good results after 02 days of the workshop. He also expressed his sincere thanks to German experts, the support of the IRZ Foundation and all participants who had attended and given precious feedbacks at the seminar. He believed that the workshop would contribute to help the implementation of work on criminal records in Vietnam in the coming time more effective.
