Promoting the IT application in the Justice sector in 2012

On January 24, Department of Information Technology under Ministry of Justice in coordination with Viettel Telecom held the ceremony introducing the IT application results in the justice sector in 2012 and handing over the software on citizenship management. Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung attended and addressed at the event.
In 2012, Ministry of Justice deployed lots of IT application serving the Ministry and Sector’s activities such as: upgrading the Ministry portal, the e-mail system, newly-built softwares on managing criminal records, judicial titles, citizenship, statistics.
Addressing at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Tung highly spoke of the IT cooperation between Department of Information Technology and Viettel Telecom. He expressed the hope that the IT Department would further boost the cooperation and promote the IT application in other fields, helping to enhance the administrative procedures and assure the transparency in the Ministry and Sector’s activities.
