Project 30 had a wide-spread impact on both the public as well as state management agencies. This laid an important background for further and more vibrant administrative reform. Up to the present time, Government has completed the second phase of Project 30, issuing 25 resolutions to simplify nearly 5,000 regulations of 24 ministries and departments under State management. When the simplification of administrative procedures comes into effect in the real life, it is estimated that about VND30 trillion annually will be saved for individuals and businesses.

The Department of Examination of Administrative Procedures under the Government Office said that, to realize the Government’s drastic actions to phase out over 5,000 unnecessary administrative procedures in the coming time, about 1,000 documents at central level and about 3,000 documents at local levels will be modified./.-ITD
