Preliminary Conference on three years implementation of the State Compensation Liability Law

On May 28, the Ministry of Justice held a preliminary conference reviewing 03 years of implementation of the Law on State Compensation Liability. Attending at the meeting were Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong, Deputy Chairman of the Judiciary Committee under the National Assembly Le Thi Nga, Justice Deputy Minister Pham Quy Ty and representatives from central agencies, legal departments.
Having speech at the meeting, on behalf of the Party Commission and the Ministry of Justice’s leaders, Minister Ha Hung Cuong praised the effort of cadres and civil servants working in state compensation for helping Government, ministries, branches and localities in implementing new, significant and challenging tasks . However, he also pointed out that this work still exists certain restrictions, which limited the effective implementation of humane policy towards the people by the Party Committee and State.
The participants at the conference exchanged views, focusing on the assessment on the implementation of the Compensation Liability of State Law, the advantages, disadvantages and shortcomings during the law implementation. They also recomended measures to promote the effectiveness of the law implementation and proposed amendments and supplements to enhance the feasibility of the Law.
