At the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong applauded A & O on opening its office in Vietnam. He added that that there were curently 56 foreign lawyers' organizations operating in Vietnam. These organizations have close ties with the Ministry of Justice . He hoped A & O ‘s operation in Vietnam would be a bridge for foreign investors to come to seek for investment opportunities in Vietnam as well as support the activities of Vietnamese enterprises and investors in other countries.

Mr. Thomas Brown expressed his pleasure to meet the Minister. He said that A & O had a lot of customers in China and Japan, therefore, the establishment of its office in Vietnam would positively help the customers who wanted to enter Vietnam market. He also expressed the hope that, after the official presence in Vietnam, A & O would have opportunities to cooperate with Ministry of Justice for mutual benefits.
