Minister Ha Hung Cuong met with the Ukrainian Union of Lawyers' delegation

On April 9, Minister Ha Hung Cuong received the Ukrainian Union of Lawyers' delegation led by Mr. V.A. Yevdokimov, Chairman of the International Union of Lawyers and Ukrainian Union of Lawyers.
At the meeting, Mr. Yevdokimov shared lots of information on the judicial reforms in Ukraine as well as the fundamental changes in the tasks and powers of the prosecuting agencies prescribed in the draft Law on prosecution, which is being built in Ukraine.
Minister Ha Hung Cuong highly spoke of the fine relations between Vietnamese bar association and Ukrainian Union of Lawyers. He appriciated the working visit of the delegation in the context that Vietnam is implementing its legal and judicial reforms, especially the amendment of 1992 Constitution.
They also agreed that two countries shared lots of similarities; therefore, Vietnam can study Ukraine’s valuable experiences in perfecting the legal system and carrying out the legal and judicial reforms.
