Leaders and staff at Ministry of Justice shares the pain of Japanese disaster victims

Ministry of Justice on March 21 raised a donation to support their fellow Asian nation over their huge loss caused by the powerful earthquake and massive tsunami which rocked the country on March 11.
Up to now, more than 20,999 people have been killed and missing and 500,000 people have been evacuated. A lot of evacuees are facing shortages of food, medicine and warm accommodation facilities.
The fundraising campaign, which will run until April 15, has been carried out in 63 cities and provinces across Vietnam. Many ministries, agencies, organizations and individuals responded to the campaign and offered their condolences to the Japanese government and people over the severe loss caused by the earthquake and tsunami, especially to the bereaved families.
The donations at Ministry of Justice received the support of all leaders and staff from departments and agencies. The ceremony raised VND64, 584,000 to support Japanese victims. The Ministry’s Trade Union will soon send the money to Japanese people.
Representatives of JICA, Japan attended the ceremony and thanked the leaders and staff at Ministry of Justice for their encouragement and sharing. He said he believed that this assistance will contribute to help his nation gradually overcome difficulties./.-ITD
