At the meeting, Mr Pham Van Vong, Secretary of Vinh Phuc provincial Party’s Committee, said that 2010 was the year when Vinh Phuc has gained notable results in social and economic developments. The province recorded an average annual GDP growth rate of 21,6% (doubled the planned targets). This is also the first year when Vinh Phuc has collected more than VND 15,000 billion for State budget. Besides the social and economic developments, Vinh Phuc has also paid special attention on party building work and enhancing the political system.

Minister Ha Hung Cuong highly appreciated Vinh Phuc’s social and economic development achievements recently as well as its objective to become an industrial province in 2015 and an industrial city in 2020. “ These objectives go ahead other provinces from 5 to 10 years. We hope that Vinh Phuc will achieve its objectives and futher promote its strengths as a dynamic city, positively contributing to the social and economic development of the whole nation”- emphasized Minister Ha Hung Cuong.
