Interdisciplinary conference evaluating the result of handling the citizenship dossiers

In order to uniformly evaluate the implementation of Law on Vietnamese Nationality 2008 and propose ways of perfecting and standardizing the process of handling the citizenship dossiers aiming at creating a dramatical and integrated changes prior the preliminary review of two years implementing the Law, the Ministry of Justice on August 12 organized the interdisciplinary conference under the chair of Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung.
Addressing at the meeting, the Deputy Minister affirmed that due to the cooperation of the agencies, the citizenship work witnessed the positive changes; much attention is also paid to the tasks of professional training and fostering as well as personnel organization. On this occasion, he also expressed thanks to agencies for their synchronous coordination and hope that the cooperation would be closer and more effective.
Currently, the Department of Judicial Administration and the Department of Information Technology under Ministry of Justice are cooperating to build the nationality management software. This software is expected to meet the urgent needs of applying information technology in citizenship management and computerizing the professional procedures./.-ITD
