Enhance cooperation with Japan in training judicial titles

On March 22, Minister Ha Hung Cuong held a meeting with Mr. Tsuno Motonori, Chief Representative of JICA Việt Nam, and Mr Nishioka Takeshi, Chief Advisor, Prosecutor – Legal Expert for JICA, to discuss bilateral cooperation in training judicial titles.
At the meeting, Minister Ha Hung Cuong appreciated the help and cooperation that Japanese people and government have given to Vietnamese justice agencies for the last 20 years. The Minister hoped that Japan, with its judicial training experience, would further support Vietnam judicial academy in the joint - effort of training three judicial titles (lawyers, judges and prosecutors), studying experiences in the organization of the national judicial exam as well as establishing the twin relations with judicial training institute of Japan.
Mr. Tsuno Motonori highly spoke of Vietnam’s efforts and determination in the judicial reforms and shared the Japanese difficulties after the disaster in 2011. He said that Japan would continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Justice in the judicial reform efforts.
