District-level justice sections authenticate bilingual papers and documents

Government has just issued Decree No. 04/2012/ND-CP on amending and supplementing Clause 1, Article 5 of the Decree No. 79/2007/ND -CP dated May 18, 2007 on the authority and responsibility for the issue of copies from master registers and authentication of copies from originals and authentication of signatures.
Under the new Decree, in addition to authenticate copies from originals of papers and documents in foreign languages, the district-level justice sections now have the competence and responsibility to the authentication of copies from original papers and documents which are bilingual. These agencies also have the authority to authenticate signatures of translators in bilingual papers and documents.Besides, Decree No. 04/2012/ND-CP supplements the stipulation that district-level Justice sections have authority and responsibility to the authentication of copies from original papers and documents in Vietnamese language as well as signatures in papers and documents in Vietnamese.
